The Adult Literacy Council offers four 'Key Programs'. All programs and services are of no charge.

High School Equivalency Preparation
(H.S.E.P.)
ALC provides free tutoring services for adults preparing to take the HiSET (formerly named GED) Exam. One-on-one sessions available based on your need level for Reading, Science, Social Studies, Math, Grammar and Essay Writing.

Life-Long
Learner
(L.L.L.)
ALC provides one-on-one and group sessions for adults who wish to improve their reading skills, Math comprehension, and/or learn Basic Computer skills in one of our many partner site labs.

Read, Educate, Apply & Develop Skills
(R.E.A.D)
ALC offers free educational experiences outside of the traditional education curriculum. Classes and speciality sessions such as ASVAB 1-on-1 tutoring is available. Contact us, to learn how to sign up for one of these classes.

English for Speakers
of Other Languages
(E.S.O.L.)
ALC provides free tutoring services for Non-English speaking adults. Contact us about Conversational English Group and ESOL Computer Lab sessions.
